Opinion Betsy Devos Is a Bad Bet for Education

Betsy DeVos has been the center of a lot of controversy following her disastrous confirmation hearing on January 17th. If confirmed, DeVos would be in charge of the Department of Education (DoE), which impacts everything from K ï ¿ ½ 12 education policy to federal aid available to college students. DeVos has long been a political activist, and sits on the board of many charitable and education-focused organizations. However, her appointment has raised eyebrows and concerns from both Democrats and Republicans, and for good reason: She lacks the experience and wisdom required to sit as Secretary of Education. No plans for higher education DeVos has not commented on college affordability much. Most of what we know about where DeVos stands on higher education was revealed in the confirmation hearing. College affordability was a core issue addressed by the 2016 presidential candidates. In particular, President Trump proposed making colleges accountable for keeping their tuition costs down and increasing federal support for students pursuing trade schools, vocational, and technical programs. In the hearing, DeVos did indicate her support for a renewed focus on vocational school. She stated, "For too long a college degree has been pushed as the only avenue for a better life. The old and expensive brick-mortar-and-ivy model is not the only one that will lead to a prosperous future." But she has not touched on the existing student debt other than to say that it's high and growing (though she did mix up the growth of the debt). Her lack of plans to address outstanding and growing student debt, are a serious concern for someone that would be directly involved with the administration of federal grant and loan programs. Lack of experience DeVos has never been a teacher, administrator, or worked within the education system ï ¿ ½ public or private - in any way. Her own children attended private, faith-based schools. She has never participated in any federal aid program. In her confirmation hearing she demonstrated a complete lack of understanding when questioned about many issues currently impacting the DoE, including the debate over proficiency versus growth when it comes to student assessments. The current U.S. Secretary of Education is John B. King Jr., who served as the New York Commissioner of Education prior to his appointment in 2016. King's predecessor was Arne Duncan. For seven years before his appointment, Duncan served as the chief executive officer of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS). It is unusual for the Secretary of Education to have no experience in education outside advocacy and political activism. It would be irresponsible to take a lifelong civilian and put them in the position of an armed services general. Neither would you have an airline safety regulator fly a plane, a bank teller manage your investments, or an architect build your home. DeVos is an advocate for education, and her intentions may be noble, but advocacy alone does not qualify someone for the position of Secretary of Education. Preferential treatment for private schools DeVos is best known for her strong advocacy of charter schools and voucher programs that would allow students to use public education dollars to attend private K ï ¿ ½ 12 schools. This is consistent with the President's campaign position regarding expanding school choice. And indeed, additional choice would seem ï ¿ ½ on its face ï ¿ ½ to be a good thing. In practice, however, the redistribution of public funding to private institutions has a twofold impact: Private K ï ¿ ½ 12 institutions are not held to public school standards of performance required for federal funding and, while there are many excellent private schools, many more may and sometimes are substandard. Dollars that would go towards public schools are instead sent to private institutions. It makes it difficult for public schools to budget accordingly, since expected dollars may or may not be used towards private schools in the district. DeVos's position on this issue is that, while she "supports accountability" for all schools, she did not ï ¿ ½ when pressed ï ¿ ½ necessarily support holding private schools that receive public funding to the same standards as public schools. You can listen to her response to inquiries from Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) here: Ethical concerns Hours after receiving the completed Public Financial Disclosure Report from the Office of Government Ethics, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions postponed its vote to confirm Secretary of Education pick Betsy DeVos. DeVos has interests in for-profit education, charter schools, and voucher programs where, given her potential position as Secretary of Education, she may stand to personally benefit, financially. A more comprehensive assessment of DeVos's interests needs to be conducted before her appointment to a position that may hold significant conflicts of interest. The Use of Critical Sports Research Papers for Doping In Sports Research Papers

The Use of Critical Sports Research Papers for Doping In Sports Research PapersUsing high quality research papers as the basis for scientific studies is something that should be avoided at all costs, yet it happens often. In fact, doping in sports research papers is a critical part of any doping program.Critical reports are the basis for the actions of anti-doping authorities. As a result, they need to be carefully evaluated before making any decisions. That is why the most useful reports for doping in sports research papers are those that discuss the latest performance enhancements. Many drugs that are currently available have been developed because someone thought that they could find new drugs that would enhance their effectiveness. Of course, there are several things that make such a plan implausible and almost impossible.First, new drugs are incredibly difficult to manufacture. They are also extremely expensive, which makes them nearly impossible to the average individual. The on ly way that a single individual can be able to afford a new drug is by sponsoring the cost of research.Dopers do not have the financial resources that are required to fund a drug development program. Therefore, if a new method of enhancing one's physical capabilities was discovered, then the person who invented the method could actually be detected. It would be absolutely ridiculous to try to build a team of athletes who were going to use such a new method without using the proper resources. That is why the source of any critical report about drug use is not the pharmaceutical industry, but rather the athletes themselves. For example, if a sprinter wins the medal in the Olympics without even going the distance, then the conclusion that the sprinter was doping cannot be accepted without refuting that assertion. However, if that same sprinter had been among the fastest ten guys at the last race, then the statement about his supposedly clean training would be more believable. Therefore, anti-doping authorities should use this information as a basis for an appropriate criticism.Dopers are irresponsible, irresponsible people, but they can be detected and punished if they are shown to be responsible for the actions of their athletes. Therefore, if one is serious about winning an Olympic medal, then the responsible thing to do is to make sure that they have an incredibly strong anti-doping system in place. For that reason, the best place to find the information that is needed to identify the dopers is through Olympic sports.

Job Specification translates the job description into required necessary human qualifications that helps in hiring of appropriate persons f or appropriate positions to perform the job in optimum way. The contents are: Necessary educational qualifications and experiences for job title Necessary physical factors and other related attributes Physique and mental health of the person Special characteristics and abilities Interpersonal skills Maturity and dependability Family background Work-output job context and other job characteristics Job Specification should be used as a guideline to the knowledge, skills and aptitudes required to perform a specific job. Job Analysis, job Description and job Specification, together form the basis of recruitment, selection and placements of persons in an organisation. Methods of Job Analysis / Data collection techniques Different organizations use different methods to collect job information and conduct job Analysis. Some of these methods are as follows: Personal observation: In this method an observer is very keen to observe the concerned individuals while performing a job and makes an extensive list of the duties performed by the workers and the qualities required to perform those duties. Job analysis is prepared on the basis of the collected information. This method is very useful in some cases, but under certain conditions it does not work or becomes more difficult. In case of jobs in which some elements of the complete job cycle occur at infrequent or unpredictable intervals. For example, by simply observing an assembly line worker may not reveal his monthly inventory duty which is very much integral part of the job. Actual performance of the job: In this method, the person in charge of preparing the job analysis actually performs the work himself. While performing the job, he gets the clear idea of the required skills, the levelof difficulty associated with the job, the efforts required to complete the job and so on and so forth. Interview method: In this method an interview is conducted of the employees who are performing the job or the supervisor or both. The interview is conducted by group of experts. They ask questions related to various aspects of job, skill levels required, and difficulty levels associated with the job. They put questions and cross questions to collect job related information. Job analysis is prepared, based on the collected information. This technique may be time consuming, and the performers of the job may exaggerate the importance of their jobs. In addition, certain important elements of the job may be missed both by the interviewer and persons interviewed because of its infrequent occurrence. For example an assembly line worker may also be required to do inventory supplies on a monthly basis. Although this responsibility may be extre mely important, it may be overlooked during the interview since it occurs on an infrequent basis. Critical incident method: In this method of job analysis, the employees are asked to write one or more critical incidents they have encountered while performing the job. These incidents give ideas about the problem associated with the job, the level of difficulty, how to handle it, qualities required to deal with the incidents and so on and so forth. Critical incident method focuses on the importance of job. Questionnaires method: Questionnaires method is the least costly method of collecting Job analysis data. A well designed set of questionnaires is considered to be the most efficient way of collecting a wide range of job data and information in a short period of time. In this method a set of questionnaire is supplied to the employees and they are asked to put their remark. The questionnaire may be comprised of multiple choice questions or open ended questions or both. The job A nalysis is done from the information collected out of it. However, the danger in this method is that, many of the respondents may not complete the questionnaire. They may complete it inaccurately, or may take excessively long time to return it. Although questionnaire is less expensive than interviewing, sometimes questionnaires contain the same problem of providing incomplete information and inaccurate in describing the actual tasks performed. However, it is considered as an effective method because of the simple logic that people generally hesitate to put anything irrelevant in writing and would think twice before doing so. The Position analysis questionnaire (PAQ): Quantification of the process of job Analysis has gained momentum in recent years. One such technique utilising a structured questionnaire is the position analysis questionnaire (PAQ). It was developed in the early 1970s through the efforts of McCormick and others. It consists of 194 job elements of a work-oriented n ature which are divided into six major categories. The job elements are normally rated by the analyst on a scale of 0 to 5. Major drawbacks of the use of the PAQ involve its length and the high level vocabulary and complicated scoring requirements. Log Records/Daily Diary: Some companies require their employees to prepare and maintain log records or daily diary. A log record is a book in which an employee records and writes all the activities performed by him while performing the job. These records mention the daily activities of job along with the activities that are performed at infrequent intervals. On the basis of the information collected from the record book Job Analysis is done. Since extensive records are maintained, it provides a fair idea about the duties and responsibilities associated with any job. HRD record: HR department prepare and maintain records of each and every employee. The records contain details about educational qualification, job title, years of ex perience, duties handled, any mistakes committed in the past and if any actions taken. It also includes number of promotions received by employees, their area of work and as well as their core competency etc. Based on these records job analysis is done. Managerial Job Analysis: The nature of managerial job is different from the jobs that are clearly observable and measurable with some routines and procedures. For which some specialized methods have evolved for managerial job analysis. One of the most well known and widely used methods for managerial job analysis is Management Position Description Questionnaire (MPDQ). It was developed at Control Data Corporation. This is composed of a listing of over 200 job statements. The MPDQ incorporates a wide variety of managerial dimensions, including decision making skill and supervising skill. Computerized Job Analysis: With the growth of the information communication technology, researchers have developed computerized job analysis sy stems. An important feature of computerized job Analysis is the specificity of data. All of this specific data is compiled together to form a Job analysis database. A computerized job analysis system takes less time and effort in writing job descriptions. Computerised job Analysis methodology helps to develop more accurate and comprehensive job descriptions, linked with compensation programs of the organisation along with performance appraisal systems. It also helps in better compliance of legal requirements. Combination Methods: There could be a number of different ways to study, analyze and obtain job related information. Each method has its own strength and weaknesses. Therefore, to overcome the weaknesses, generally, a combination of methods is preferred over one method alone. Benefits of Job Analysis Organizational structure and design: Job Analysis data guides in preparing the organization chart and designing the organizational structure. It helps in Job classification and establishes relation of each job with one another. It also determines various positions and hierarchy of the positions to avoid overlapping of authority- responsibility relationship and distortion in chain of command. Job Evaluation Job Evaluation is the process of analyzing and assessing various jobs systematically to ascertain their relative worth in an organization. Job Evaluation means systematically determining relative worth of jobs to create job structure and to develop job hierarchy. In Job Evaluation process the relative worth of job is identified based upon job comparability. According to relative worth, importance of job and relative value compensation is designed and selected. Hence it involves determination of relative worth of each job for the purpose of establishing wage and salary differentials. Basically, relative worth is determined on the basis of Job Description and Job Specification. Job Evaluation helps to determine wages and salary grades for all jobs. Employees need to be compensated depending on the grades of jobs they perform. Remuneration must be based on the relative worth of each job. Ignoring this basic principle arrives at inequitable compensation practice. A perception of inequi ty is a sure way of de-motivating an employee and a profound ill effect on employees morale. According to Alford and Beatty, Job Evaluation is the application of the job Analysis technique to the qualitative measurement of relative job worth, for the purpose of establishing consistent wage rate differentials by objective means. It measures the differences between jobs on the job requirements, and establishes the differential numerically (job rating), so that it can be converted to wage rate after the wage level is determined. According to Kimball and Kimball Jr., Job Evaluation represents an effort to determine the relative value of every job in a plant and to determine what the fair basic wage for such a job should be. According to Bethel, Atwater and Smith et at, Job Evaluation as a personal term has both a specific and genetic meaning specifically, it means job rating or the grading of occupations in terms of duties, generally it means the entire field of wages and salar y administration along modern lines. Edwin B. Flippo defines. Job Evaluation is a systematic and orderly process of determining the worth of a job in relation to other jobs. In the words of Maurice B. Cumming, Job Evaluation is a technique of assessing the worth of a job in comparison with all other jobs throughout an organisation. According to Scott, Clothier and Spriegel, Job Evaluation or job rating is the operation of evaluating a particular job in relation to other jobs either within or outside the organisation. According to International Labour Organisation, Job Evaluation may be defined as an attempt to determine and compare the demands which the normal performance of particular job makes on normal workers without taking into account of the individual abilities or performance of the workers concerned. In the words of Dale Yoder, Job Evaluation is a practice which seeks to provide a degree of objectivity in measuring the comparative value of jobs within an organisa tion and among similar organisations. In the words of John A. Shubin, Job Evaluation is a systematic procedure for measuring the relative value and importance of an occupation on the basis of their common factor (skill, training, efforts) for the purpose of determining wages and salary differentials. According to Bureau of Labour Statistics, Job Evaluation is the evaluation or rating of job to determine their position in job hierarchy. The evaluation may be achievement through assignment of points or the use of some other systematic rating method for essential job requirements such as skill, experience and responsibility. Features of Job Evaluation The primary objective of job Evaluation is to find out the value of work, but this is a value which varies from time to time and from place to place under the influence of certain economic pressure. The main features of job Evaluations are as follows: It attempts to assess jobs, not people. Job Evaluation is the output provided by job Analysis. It provides bases for wage negotiation founded on facts. Job Evaluation does not design wage structure, it helps in rationalising the system by reducing number of separate and different rates. Job Evaluation is done by group of experts. Job Evaluation determines the value of job and the value of each of the aspects of job such as skill and responsibility levels are also related and studied in connection with the job. Job Evaluation helps the management to maintain high levels of employee productivity and employee satisfaction. The objectives of job Evaluation To provide a standard procedure for fixing salary: job Evaluation aims at providing a standard procedure for fixing salary of employees doing a particular job and belonging to a particular level in the organization. This is required to remunerate the employees according to his capabilities and therefore making them satisfied on the job. To reconcile the pay in accordance with employees efforts: The rate of pay is decided by looking into various factors on the job. To ensure that wages and salaries are paid according to the qualification and work: Job Evaluation recognizes the importance of qualification of the employees and the efforts put by him on the job and decides the salary based on these factors. This   Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  ensures that the employees are judged on similar factors and there is no bias. To decide salary using scientific methods of evaluation:   The job Evaluation methods are scientific in nature. It must be decided after  looking into the iss ues concerned with a scientific approach not based on  personal bias or personal choice. To have a fair study of the job factors to avoid ambiguity: Job Evaluation studies the job factors in a fair and just manner and thereby tries to avoid all sorts of ambiguity. When the factors for judging the jobs are very clear and accurate, it assigns more credibility to the entire job evaluation process. Advantages of job Evaluation Job Evaluation is advantageous to management, workers, trade unions and organisations as well. Management has the advantage of greater order in its pay arrangement and more stable wage structure. Unions benefit from a greater sense of fairness and reasons in pay matters. Union can play a more important role in determining the relation between different levels of pay and in the joint regulation of work place conditions. Employees benefit because job evaluation provides an agreed framework for setting questions affecting jobs and so helps to prevent arbitrary decisions. It also helps to ensure that differences in skill and responsibility are properly recognised. Everyone benefits from a system which enables the pay for new and revised jobs to be settled in the same way as for existing job by preventing anomalies. Job Evaluation Methods The essence of compensation administration and establishment of the pay structure is job Evaluation. It systematically determines the value of each job in relation to all jobs within the organization by using job Analysis information. In short, Job Evaluation seeks to rank all the jobs in the organization and place them in a hierarchy that will reflect the relative worth of each. The techniques which have been commonly used are as follows: Non-analytical or Non-quantitative or summary methods. Non-analytical methods are: Job Ranking Job Classification or grading Analytical or quantitative methods. Analytical methods are: Factor Comparison Point rating or assessment Job Ranking Method This is the oldest and simplest method of job Evaluation. This is generally used in smaller units where the job rater is well aware of job. This method does not break a job into its elements or factors. The whole job is judged against another whole job. Then their relative value is fixed then ranking of the jobs. Job at the top of the list obtains the highest value and the job at the bottom of the list gets the lowest value. Jobs are arranged from highest value to lowest. Jobs also can be arranged according to the relative difficulty in performing them. Jobs can also be arranged with their relative importance in the organisation. Job arrangement can be made starting with the most important and ending at the least important. Each department follow this procedure. Then an attempt is made to equate or compare jobs at various levels among the several departments to define grade levels are and salary groups. Jobs are placed into different salary ranges basically on the basis of their rank order. When there are a large number of jobs, ranking method may not be suitable. Other drawback is the method is subjective. There are no definite or consistent standards to justify the rankings. An example of ranking of jobs where additional jobs between already ranked may be assigned. Rank Monthly salary range Manager 9.000-12.000 Assistant Manager 7.000-9.000 Superintendent 6.000-8.000 Assistant 5,000-7.000 Clerk/typist 4,000-6,000 Peon 3.000-4.000 Advantages: 1.  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚   The system is quite simple to adopt. 2.  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚   It is very easy to administer. 3.  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚   Less time consuming in evaluating the relative value of the jobs. 4.  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚   This is suitable for smaller organisation where the raters are fully aware of the existing jobs in the enterprise. Disadvantages: 1.  Due to lack of scientific approach jobs may be arbitrarily ranked resulting in differences in similar jobs. 2.  Since the ranks judgements of the jobs are subjective, the fairness of the judgement is questionable. 3.  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  Ãƒâ€šÃ‚  In a complex and large organisation, it is not possible to be familiar with all the jobs and thus general description will not enable correct assessment of the relative importance of the jobs.

How Do People Learn (Language) - 829 Words

How do people learn (language)? How we teach language should be based on how people learn language. Do we learn language the way we learn everything? Or is there some special way our brains learn language? Today we will talk about some of the hypotheses which have been suggested for how people learn (in general) and learn language (in particular). This child has learned sign-language from his parents – but how? NATURE vs. NURTURE People who argue for language learning by NATURE believe that humans are born with a built-in ability to learn language – that it is part of the structure of our brains. People who support NURTURE side of the argument believe that we learn language the same way we learn everything else, e.g.†¦show more content†¦S: I played basketball. T: I’m not very good at basketball. This responds to the meaning. NATIVISM (INNATE LANGUAGE ABILITY) Shortly after Skinner wrote his book, a young linguist named Noam Chomsky (1959) wrote a strong critique of the Behaviorist theory for language learning. Chomsky’s main argument against Behaviorism was this: IF CHILDREN LEARN LANGUAGE BY CONDITIONING AND IMITATION, WHY DO THEY SAY THINGS THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD BEFORE? WHY CAN ADULTS MAKE COMPLETELY NOVEL SENTENCES? †¢ Fish feet †¢ My brother only eats the blue monkeys. Chomsky also argued that the language children are exposed to is â€Å"deficient† for language learning. Chomsky claimed that the language children hear is full of â€Å"performance errors† such as grammatical mistakes, false starts, slips of the tongue, etc. CHOMSKY’S LAD Therefore, Chomsky argued, children must be born with some special built-in ability to learn language. He called this special built-in ability, the Language Acquisition Device (LAD). This device supposedly contained the main rules for all possible human languages. Chomsky called this set of common rules Universal Grammar (UG). All the child needed was a small sample from some specific language (e.g. English or Japanese) to be able to add a few language-specific rules. For example, English is said to be a â€Å"head first† language because it builds structures like: The man - who is wearing - a hatShow MoreRelatedWhy Students Should Be A Foreign Language1714 Words   |  7 Pagesuse different languages to communicate. Aligning Strategy and Performance Management †MyAssignmenthelp

Question: Discuss about the Aligning Strategy and Performance Management. Answer: Introduction NAB had decided to lay off 6000 jobs to increase the profit by choosing digitalization and automation over more manual labor. AS per the authorities the baking industry was under the pressure to reshape its business, and that these jobs cut offs will happen over a period of three years and not immediately. The company aims to move 60 percent of its business online in the times to come and the total cost of redundancies would be equal to $800 million, but the underlying cash profit would reach an all-time high of $6.6 billion. The main reasons why the bank is removing 6000 jobs because there is external pressure on the banking industry to reshape its structure and move towards digitalization, this will help in reducing the overall cost of having these many employees and will also help in reducing the total efforts that the company puts. Digitalization is the trend of this century and to curb competition and perform excellent in the market the company needs to make sure that they are opting for automation and because of that they must lay off so many of their employees and cut off jobs(Dichev, 2017). The main stakeholder who would be affected by this scenario would be the employees of the company as they were losing their jobs and their source of livelihood, the bank has just announced that 6000 jobs would be cut off and that would affect the employees as there is no job security. The other stakeholders include: The shareholders These people would be affected if the company goes into loss due to this restructuring and they will end up receiving little income on their investment. Thus, their primary concern would be that the company is making profit so that they get good returns. The bank has also decided to go for increase its total amount of investments by a billion-internal investment program, so that would also affect the position of the investors in the company. The shareholders should get adequate returns for their money and that is their only concern(Abbott Kantor, 2017). The customers The customers should get good services from the banks, in case the bank is going for restructuring, the banks plans to halve the number of products that it sells and move a larger portion of its business online. So in a way that would affect the company and make it more vulnerable to the demands of the customers(Chiapello, 2017). The stakeholder theory suggest that the main aim of any business is to create as much value for its stakeholders, to succeed and be more sustainable over time. The business should try to align the interest of its various stakeholders with the overall policies of the business so that they get what the ultimately deserve from the organization. The demands of the stakeholders and the policies of the business should move in a similar direction(Alexander, 2016). All the policies framed by the company should have their stakeholders in preference. In case the same is applied to the NAB case the likely motivation for each of the group would be Shareholders In case the business goes for digitalization, initially there will be restructuring cost but as time will pass, the company will earn more profit and they will earn more return so the banks policy are in sync with the demands of the investor, to provide them better returns. Customers The customers will also benefit from this change, as online is the new trend and it makes it easier for the customers to avail the services that the bank provides. So we see in a way it would be beneficial for them. Initially there might be few issues but ultimately this will help the customers in solving large amount of problems(Maynard, 2017). The company will be benefited as they will have an opportunity to curb competition and go as per the demands of the market in this century. This process of digitalization will help in reducing a lot of cost going forward and that can be seen from the high cash profit that the company has recorded(Vieira, et al., 2017). In this new age world the people are shifting towards the online business and are find it more easy and time saving to perfrom and get these services on the internet, so that should be helpful for the business from the customer point of view who will get their desired services easily. It is also important that companies should do proper online research before taking such steps that might affect their future growth prospects and opportunities. The second accounting theory that can be applied to this case is the corporate governance theory as per which the company should follow such rules and principles that will help in balancing the needs and interests of all the stakeholders dependent on the company that will include customers, shareholder management, suppliers, government, investors etc(Chariri, 2017). The same can be applied to the NAB case where the aim of the management should be to balance out the needs of all the stakeholders by providing them equal importance when forming policies for the business. The needs of all the stakeholders should be balanced. In case same is applied to NAB the management with going for automation to increase the profit and curb the competition should look for ways that can provide better job security to the customers who are dependent on the company. This decision by the company would be beneficial for one set of stakeholders and the other one will suffer because of it(Chron, 2017). Out of all the theories the best theory that will apply to this case of NAB would be the corporate governance theory and the management should form its business policies based on the demand of all the people who are associated with it and working for it. The customers, the employees, the public, the investors each of them have their separate needs from the company and the aim of the management should be to balance out each of them. The company is going for digitalization and opting for automation but that in turn is affecting the revenue of the company and the life of so many employees of the company who must give on their job for the sake of this decision(Dichev, 2017). Thus, the company should follow corporate governance that will help in balancing the needs of the stakeholders and provide them with the desired results. The stakeholder theory is more focused on the needs of individual stakeholder rather than considering them as one and balancing the same. Thus, based on this it can be said corporate governance is the best policy for the company(Delone Mclean, 2004). Conclusion The third accounting theory that can be applied is the agency theory as per which one of stakeholder will act as a representative of the other stakeholder and present their demands infront of the management. In this way each of the stakeholder would be able to understand the needs of the other party who is affected by the decisions of the company and management. The agent has the responsibility to act in behalf of the principal and see to it that the personal needs of the agents are not influencing the needs of the principal. In this case the investors and the shareholders who are putting forward the demand of automation should see to it that their needs do not affect the needs of the other people who are concerned with the business and that includes the employees and the general public. Out of all the theories the theory of corporate governace is best as per which the demands of all the stakeholders of the company should be balanced and equal importance should be given to each of the m , so that in the end each of them is benefited from this decision.
